What we are looking for.

Kidney cancer

Renal cell carcinoma grows silently and is usually found by accident. MRI resolves masses at a few millimeters and grades cysts Bosniak I to IV.

Pancreatic cancer

Diagnosed late in most people. MRCP shows ductal dilation and cystic lesions, including IPMN, before there are symptoms.

Liver cancer

Hepatocellular carcinoma and metastatic deposits. Diffusion and T2 imaging separate them from cysts and hemangiomas.

What the report contains.

Every finding is graded and closed out. Benign is recorded as benign. If something needs another look, the report says what, when and which specialist, and we book it.

“I went in expecting a wellness gimmick and got a 6mm renal lesion caught at stage one. The consult afterward was the clearest 45 minutes I’ve spent with a doctor.”
Daniel R. · Member since 2024 · Tribeca
“My report told me what they saw, what they didn’t, and what the scan can’t rule out. Nobody has ever been that direct with me about a test.”
Sofia L. · Member since 2024 · Brooklyn Heights
“The whole visit was 70 minutes and I was back at my desk by 10. Results came in four days, not four weeks.”

Common questions.

Is a whole-body MRI actually safe?+

MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves. No ionizing radiation, unlike CT or X-ray. Our protocol uses no contrast dye, so no injection. Contraindications are certain implanted devices and metal fragments. We screen for both at intake.

What about false positives?+

Any screening test produces them. Findings are graded. Benign ones are recorded as benign and closed. We do not recommend follow-up imaging a specialist would not.

Can NovoScan find every cancer?+

No. MRI detects solid-organ, brain, spinal and soft-tissue disease well. It detects hollow-organ disease and lung lesions under about 6mm poorly. Your report lists what was not covered and which screenings to keep: colonoscopy, mammography, low-dose chest CT, skin checks.

Do you take insurance?+

Usually not. Screening MRI in someone without symptoms is rarely covered. We are cash-pay, accept HSA and FSA cards, and provide an itemized superbill you can submit yourself.
